As previously reported on GerritsenBeach.net it turns out we have a new Synagogue on 3523 Avenue S and East 36th called BNEI TORACH of Marine Par.
Personally, I liked it better when it was Marine Perk, but then again I liked it better as Meat Supreme.
Is there a large Jewish community in Marine Park? I have to admit I was surprised to see this. I was hoping for a fresh produce store or drugstore, something the whole neighborhood could use.

I miss meat supreme. You could come off the B2 after work and pick up something for dinner.
At least it wasn’t another nail parlor!
