Depending on what block you live on, Verizon will be coming in and removing the poles they surprised everyone with and then run the lines behind everyone homes.

This is largely dependent if everyone on specific blocks gave Verizon consent to run the lines behind their homes.

Ed is a resident of the Marine Park Community & was the 2nd Vice President for the M.P.C.A. He was our man about town, always taking surveys, drawing up charts, addressing the concerns of our neighboring merchants and residents, just doing what he could in making Marine Park better for all. Recently, An elderly couple aged 81 and 86 were victims of a deception burglary. The criminals pretended to be from the water company and were let into the house by the couple. As the couple was being distracted their home was being ransacked.  This is the first of this type of crime since the start of 2009, 3 total happened in 2008.

Unless you know there is a problem with your utility service demand ID and do not let them in, call 911.

The Marine Park Civic Meeting was last night, it was an interesting meeting. The crowd was a bit thin but there were lots of elected officials there.

Forum Fitness located at 2825 Nostrand Ave,  formerly Empire Fitness, has opened in the area. (forumfitnessclub.com)
