Hi. It’s great to see there are other bikers in the neighborhood. That path was closed on June 27, and I had to pass the bike through a hole in the fence to get to Cross Bay Blvd. Thanks to you, I was I knew I could take the Belt path on my return from a ride yesterday(7/11). On those two rides I saw rabbits, geese and egrets on the bike path between Flatbush Av & Rockaway Pkwy.

It looks great, but I don’t know if I’ll ever get that far up the path. Hey, what’s happening with the path near Plum Beach? Sooner or later someone will be near the edge and it will break off and leave them in mid-air due to the erosion. I have never seen something like this and it could get interesting when bikers have to cross the lanes to avoid that edge.
