McGuinness’ Irish Gift Shop – CLOSING!

After serving the Marine Park community for several years, McGuinness’ Irish Gift Shop is closing its doors. Part and parcel of going out of business, all merchandise (not including food) is 30% off. Always sad to see a long-standing neighborhood-serving business close, MarineParker wishes its owner(s) the best of luck in all future endeavors.

I’ve been meaning to go in there recently, when I heard they were closing. It’s too bad that they have to close.
I’m sorry to see them go. I used to get all my St. Patrick’s Day accessories in there. How many stores on Ave S are vacant now?
Sad to see them shutting down as it was a great place to go Christmas shopping for the wife and of course around St. Pat’s. I guess they didn’t get enough business during the rest of the year to stay profitable.
I don’t think it was a lack of business, they are just tired of it and want to retire. It is a shame however, great sweaters and imports. Where will all the little girls who take step dancing buy their poodle socks?
Celtic rose in bayridge Brooklyn, on 89th st and 3rd avenue sell poodle socks n dance shoes and even rent kilts! They have the widest selection of imported Irish n Scottish foods n gifts. Service is great n they have a website too http://www.celticrosetearoom.com gud luck!
