Marine Park’s squirrels are awfully brazen and confrontational. This little guy (or gal?) brings to mind the squirrel that jumped in front of the camera of the couple on vacation, which became a viral sensation. Perhaps this picture will gain some internet notoreity?
Seriously. But what do you expect? They’re from Brooklyn.
It looks like those little paws are tiny fists. It’s like he’s saying, “You lookin’ at me?…well, are ya?”
“please sir, my I have some more?”
The little guy wouldn’t back down. I thought he would scurry away but we had a good stare down for about two minutes. Made for a great photo.
